Our Story

From a dream to a mission.

How one person's lifelong love for animals became a rescue that saves the most vulnerable lives — every single day.

Where It Began

“I have always been the one who likes dogs more than people.”

Woof and Willow Puppy Rescue grew from a handmade-goods company — selling crafts to raise money for local shelters — into a fully licensed 501(c)(3) PACFA Colorado rescue.

Dana opened her own home to create a one-of-a-kind in-house rescue, focusing on the neonatal puppies who need intervention from their very first hours of life.

Today, the rescue saves mothers and puppies from the highest-kill shelters in America — rescuing from as far as Texas and bringing them home to Colorado for care, rehabilitation, and adoption.
